After many years of teaching I'll have the chance to get a break in the year 2000. The business school of Thun is granting me a 6 months educational leave from July until January 2001.  The SIBP (Swiss Work Pedagogical Institute) has fixed themes for about 5 weeks, which leaves me 3 - 4 months to my own wishes.  I would like to make the most of this time, personally and in terms of furthering my teaching career. The following thoughts are primary:

- Acquire a distance from the everyday schoolroutine
- Reflecting and getting further ahead in my educational career
- Work practice, together with learning or brushing up a foreign language
- Gather new power and ideas

During the months of September to December 2000 I am looking for a position to fulfill my ideas, may it be a practical work, a volunteer work or as an assistant.  Personally I will try to be open, flexible and curious to all that's new.
